When I first came to Portugal in 2009, I discovered that the Lusitano was far more than a riding horse — it was a doorway into a culture, a history, and generations of knowledge.
Over the years, matching riders with Lusitanos has never simply been about a sale. It has been about protecting the relationship between horse and human, respecting the people who breed and train them, and helping this remarkable heritage continue.
Lusitano Heritage was created for this reason — to bring together the horses, the masters, the traditions and the stories that deserve to be carried forward.
